To support a growing oncology team, the full-time remote Cytogenetics Technologist will perform chromosome analysis, imaging, and karyotyping of cytogenetic specimens while utilizing advanced software tools. Key responsibilities: Perform analysis of chromosomes, including imaging and karyotyping of cytogenetic specimens Review test requisitions and summarize test results utilizing ISCN nomenclature Distinguish between normal and abnormal test results while documenting corrective actions as needed Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology 3 years of experience in a Cytogenetics clinical laboratory 2 years of experience with cytogenetic analysis of metaphase spreads via computerized images 2 years of experience in Oncology cytogenetics
