Tujague's, a historic fine dining restaurant located in the heart of New Orleans, LA, is looking for an experienced bartender to join our team. What You’ll Do As a bartender at Tujague's, you’ll play a vital role in creating a memorable dining experience for every guest. Your responsibilities will include: Providing polished, attentive, and personable service to all guests. Preparing classic and craft cocktails with precision and consistency. Maintaining a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar. Demonstrating an in-depth knowledge of our cocktail, wine, and beverage programs. Assisting guests with beverage selections and food pairings. Properly opening and serving wine and champagne when required. Managing bar setup, mise en place, garnishes, and glassware. Processing orders, payments, and cash transactions accurately. Following responsible alcohol-service practices and adhering to all regulations. Collaborating effectively with servers, culinary staff, management, and other team members. Completing opening, closing, cleaning, stocking, and inventory duties. Contributing to an elevated and memorable guest experience. What We’re Looking For We’re seeking a talented and professional bartender who meets the following qualifications: At least 1 year of bartending experience ; fine dining or upscale restaurant experience is preferred. Strong knowledge of classic and craft cocktails, as well as premium spirits, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages. Ability to provide knowledgeable food and beverage recommendations. Excellent guest service and communication skills. Professional appearance and a positive attitude. Ability to remain calm, organized, and composed during busy service. Strong attention to detail and consistency. Reliability, punctuality, and dependability. A team-oriented mindset with a willingness to support the entire restaurant. Why Join Tujague's?
