Career Advancement Opportunities
Support from an experienced HVAC, plumbing, drain, and electrical team
Diagnose, repair, and maintain residential plumbing systems.
Service and install water heaters, faucets, toilets, fixtures, disposals, sump pumps, ejector pumps, and related equipment.
Repair water lines, drain lines, leaks, valves, piping, and other plumbing components.
Perform plumbing inspections and identify code, safety, and performance concerns.
Clearly explain findings and recommend appropriate repair or replacement options.
Obtain customer authorization before beginning work and collect payment when appropriate.
Complete accurate estimates, service notes, photos, and required documentation.
Communicate parts, scheduling, and return-trip needs promptly to the office.
Protect customers’ homes and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Maintain assigned vehicle inventory, tools, equipment, and materials.
Coordinate with customer service, dispatch, and other field teams.
Participate in ongoing technical, safety, sales, and customer service training.
Previous residential plumbing service and repair experience.
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
Knowledge of residential plumbing systems, fixtures, materials, and applicable codes.
Ability to independently manage service calls from diagnosis through completion.
Strong communication, presentation, and customer service skills.
Ability to explain technical findings and available options clearly to homeowners.
Comfortable recommending appropriate solutions based on customer needs.
Commitment to safe, code-compliant, and high-quality workmanship.
Maryland Journeyman or Master Plumber license preferred.
Backflow certification is a plus.
Comfortable using tablets, mobile applications, and field service software.
Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
Ability to perform physical work in basements, crawl spaces, bathrooms, and outdoor conditions.
Success in this role means diagnosing plumbing problems accurately, completing dependable repairs and installations, and helping homeowners feel confident in the solutions you recommend. You’ll take ownership of the customer experience, maintain professional communication, and help TriState Home Services continue earning trust through quality service and consistent follow-through.
